Dad, Husband, #NUFC fan and procrastinator. Just to warn you, I’m *very* sweary.

06.08.2025 11:20 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I was massively into DC Comics in the 90s and I remember getting the double cassette releases of your Superman: Doomsday & Beyond and Knightfall audio dramas. Practically wore the tapes out and have been a huge fan of your work ever since.
Independence Day UK was a work of art! Absolutely loved it
Bloke played for Wolves and Blackpool, he’s got no right to talk about players not signing for Newcastle because of ‘the area’
05.08.2025 16:18 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Just shows you how fucking weak chairmen outside of the top six are to let these fuckers get away with this. Bending over backwards in the hope they might get a few scraps from the big boys table.
And I include us pre-takeover in that. Bunch of cap doffing serf cunts.
And Liverpool are already touching £250m or so spent yet still wanting to splash £150m on Isak.
It’s a fucking joke.
Meanwhile Chelsea have, yet again, signed about 20 players.
05.08.2025 14:00 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Yup. I’ve not kept tabs on anyone else’s business but it’s felt like the only cunts signing anyone of note have been the usual suspects.
Legacy clubs, my fucking arse. Circled the wagons and ringefenced the money for themselves.
I don’t think we’d put a second bid in for Ekitike when Liverpool made their move. Can’t see us withdrawing an accepted bid now, but think he’ll probably end up there unless Reuben has properly schmoozed him and his agent. Just shows how fucked PSR is tho, totally rigged system.
05.08.2025 13:44 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0No, but I’d be surprised if he come to us now. All the noise has felt like he’d choose Man U for the money if both went in for him
05.08.2025 13:35 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Can’t fault them for who they’ve gone for, but they’ve been shafted each time by agent talk and the ‘big six’ PSR immunity.
Each player has seemed keen until agents have started hawking around and a big six club goes “may as well hoard another player”
Just boring as fuck now, it’s a closed shop.
Honestly bored shitless of this transfer window.
05.08.2025 12:34 — 👍 14 🔁 1 💬 1 📌 05 years ago we’d have been signing Calvert-Lewin on a free and being told we should be grateful for that outlay.
05.08.2025 08:18 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I can’t remember exactly but I *think* they launched the white kit last season just before the Sela cup so there’s a good chance the last lot of kits will drop this week, if they follow that pattern?
05.08.2025 08:03 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0There’s a reason rightwing shitmongers have spent the last two decades trying to cripple universities by, again, turning them into a results based ‘industry’ and belittling ‘Mickey mouse’ courses at smaller unis.
Reminder that most of these cunts ‘read classics’…
They don’t want critical thinking though, it’s why they’ve systematically made education purely about hitting targets instead of gaining knowledge over the last 30 years. They want good workers who can hit targets and do as they’re told, not who can think for themselves.
05.08.2025 07:41 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Dunno about that, they seem to do things arse-backwards now and clubs let players talk to prospective buyers before a deal is sorted
04.08.2025 18:07 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Painful
04.08.2025 17:48 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0If I had to pick from the three, I’d probably want Sesko more because I’m a Football Manager nerd. Youngest of the three by a good distance as well so offers better ‘value’, all else being equal. I’d be chuffed with Wissa or Watkins either tbf, both quality strikers
03.08.2025 14:02 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Lot of stuff dependent on other deals though, I guess. Wissa seemed/seems the most likely to come in as a replacement for Wilson - maybe Šeško becomes that if we get him in and keep Isak. If we do bring in Šeško though then I don’t see us signing another striker unless Isak goes
03.08.2025 13:57 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0My kids love You Can Call Me Al. Sure it’s a ‘pop’ along, but it’s a bloody catchy one.
03.08.2025 13:53 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Supposedly they’re looking at him, but it’ll all depend on whether the scousers come back with a better offer for Isak I guess. They’re not gonna have sesko, Isak and Watkins on the books at once.
03.08.2025 13:21 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0You suggested we’d accept liverpools current offer, there’s no chance of that
03.08.2025 11:56 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I mean I think it’s more likely we sell him if we do sign Šeško, but I think it’ll still be closer to what we want for him than what Liverpool have initially offered and I also don’t think it’s a guarantee. Would make a formidable pairing up front in the CL
03.08.2025 11:47 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Where in that post does he say he’d expect us to accept a lower fee, exactly?
03.08.2025 11:40 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0It’s pure fantasy on your part though. NUFC have made it pretty clear what their stance is on Isak. If they bring in another striker, they’re not going to drop their price one bit. Why would they? They’d still have to replace him, we’re already one striker down since Wilson left.
02.08.2025 23:16 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I think his point is that us buying another striker won’t magically lower the price it would cost Liverpool to buy Isak, so if they won’t pay the price now, they won’t pay the price after we bring in another striker.
02.08.2025 22:29 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I honestly think that NUFC won’t budge on their asking price even if they bring in another striker beforehand.
If they sell Isak then they need to buy two strikers this window, buying one won’t change their stance on him imo
Sounds like they probably want a sizeable sell on fee % and we’d rather give them some target based addons instead. Might find a middle ground, I guess.

Bosh.
If you were selling a house for £350k and someone said they were going to offer you £300k but then when push came to shove, they actually offered you £250k would you not find that a bit bloody cheeky and a ‘lowball’ offer?
