I don't interpretate my post as donations to dems. These are democracy supporting groups with teams of lawyers fighting Trump's outlandish overreach. I see this as important at this point in history.

I somehow got on the “Don’t vote because Dems have never done anything for anyone” algorithm and I want off.

I had a medical visit today at a local hospital. Mostly reminded me of the beautiful, healing work being done by so many immigrants and newcomers to the US. Kind, hardworking, caring - all in a cooperative atmosphere of common mission.

So grateful they brought their passion and talents here.

For Lent this year, I’m fasting from being overwhelmed by Trump’s evil. Instead of feeding on the mass of fear that surrounds us, I want to be nourished by light and love.

This is a season of cleansing for me, not wallowing in sin.
