They each started with a shapeless blob of color, which I then sketched over to highlight the things I saw in them. The pig was the only one I had a vague idea of what I wanted to draw in mind when I started - it's based on a pig I plan to use for a future Desk Companion.

Tutorial to draw the fluffy pink bug: start by sketching a circle in pencil. Then switch to ink and draw short lines around the sketch in a circular motion to give the illusion of fur, then erase the sketch. Next, draw 4 longer lines: 2 on top for the eyes, 2 underneath for the legs. Add flat circles for the feet, and ball for the eyes. Then add pupils, and some more texture to the fur. Color and you're done!
