This is exactly right. Anyone voting for the spending bill is voting for higher energy bills and blackouts.

The Trump tax bill will add at least $8 trillion to the debt compared to not doing anything. Then many of the supposed spending cuts are postponed, so they can be repealed before they take effect.
$10 trillion (a reasonable guess) is about $30,000 in additional debt for each American to pay later.
