What is an Anime you wish more people would watch?

For me, I would have to say Chihayafuru. It's a fantastically well done sports story with great characterization, well done character drama, and it's source is the best manga I have ever read.

What is the anime that unexpectedly blew you away?

Chihayafuru. I started it because I thought the character design was cute. I did not imagine I’d become obsessed with competitive card poetry.

just watched chihayafuru: meguri episode 8 and it may sound strange this way to describe it, but this dorama has so much 'heart'. it's a story full of love toward its characters and karuta.

I love chihayafuru so much and I love full circle too. love to be reminded one of my fave themes in this series. I love that dreams don’t end just because you enter adulthood, and also that they can be picked up again even in adulthood.

Essentially the best way will be emailing or filling out the Google doc they have for requests. They keep tabs on the most requested titles and while I'm sure that isn't a 100% guarantee it gives them a good idea on what the people want

I was able to talk with Kodansha representatives about the possibility of Chihayafuru in print.

Obviously I couldn't get an actual answer on that but I did also ask about the fan side and what we can do to up the chances on this happening.
