Got a bit more reading done. Crashed by @adamtooze.bsky.social excellent, published in 2018 still feels relevant and shows how long the shadow of the 2008 crash looms. The War for Ukraine by @warinthefuture.bsky.social another excellent read to understand strategies and adaptations on both sides.

Bit more reading done this month. I can highly recommend The Great Crash, is a good starting point if your interested in economic history.

Currently reading Mick Ryan's The War for Ukraine, if your interested in defence stocks this is good research material.

I have to admit I did find myself bristling at Ian and Tim whilst listening to this week. Their view of having already had this debate I find very annoying. I have a lot of coworkers in their 20s who have never had their say. The '16 voters seem to be held as sacred, even by the pro eu journos.

Bit of a slower reading month, but some excellent content. Security Analysis is really worth the hype, but take your time with it. It really does rewire your brain. Manias, Panics and Crashes is a tour de force in economic history, understanding cycles and capital flows.

I'm so sorry @sturdyalex.bsky.social & @pimlicat.bsky.social that you were on the receiving end of attacks over your Wednesday episode. I know it's not much but I have contacted my Labour MP with your key talking points.

Great episode. I do love some macro chat. #CCH is one of those sleep well at night stocks. I think anything in the consumer staples sector is probably a good place to be atm. I wonder how much damage Trump has done that we just haven't seen yet. Could be an interesting year, tin hats all round.
