It's not that "we voted for this". We got this because more people didn't vote than the people who voted for either party. I can't imagine Americans who feel so entitled they no longer think they're required to vote.

Plus, in my mind, it shouldn't matter what country they came from. They sincerely want to be Americans now or they wouldn't have gone to all the trouble (testing, etc., etc., etc.) to become an American.

My wife naturalized in San Antonio TX, 2009. Huge group, over 1000. They called each country and ppl from those countries stood and were recognized. 92 countries represented. Couldn’t imagine “except you, you and you; we don’t want you”. The humiliation of it. 😡
