Mike Patrick, longtime voice of NFL games on ESPN, dies at 80 The versatile play-by-play man was a George Washington University alum and spent several years at D.C. station WJLA before joining ESPN in 1982.

Another loss in broadcast community as Mike Patrick has died. I loved listening to him call CBB even though he was most known for 🏈

His voice is immortalized at Xfinity Center at UMD as he was on the call for Kristi Toliver’s @TerpsWBB shot in 2006!
