Unsolved Mysteries is a great show where I get mad at the end of every episode because it never wrapped up the story because I'm a dumb guy who forgot he was watching a show called Unsolved Mysteries.

I 100% believe this because in reality, this is how AI is being implemented across entertainment- companies naively believe their own hype about AI and assume it can replace all creatives, it fails to do this and then underpaid and frequently uncredited human hands salvage the damage AI has done.

For the millionth time, the OSA does not only require age "verification" (it isn't) for "pornography". It requires age verification for a wide range of content that is all so incredibly vaguely defined it could apply to a million things. bsky.app/profile/raha...

Age "verification" does not just burden kids. You can't identify who's a kid without deanonymizing every visitor to a site, including adults. This affects:
- people who don't have valid IDs that qualify for the age "verification" system a particular site has implemented
