The Avanade Intelligent Garden by Tom Massey & Je Ahn at RHS #ChelseaFlowerShow included a structure of sustainable mushroom-based building material. Renewable and biodegradable, it can be grown competitively at $1/lb; mycelium-based building blocks can be 80x cheaper than cement and gypsum blocks.

RHS Chelsea Flower Show is a great place to learn about how healthy plant communities are entwined with design. Sustainable plant communities create thriving landscapes: places where plants will flourish over the long term to create spaces where people will flourish too. #urbandesign #placemaking
