pretty fcked that Canadian racist care economy is largely built on Filipina labour - from domestic work to nursing - and that after the tragedy it's mostly Filipinas in healthcare and community networks doing carrying care work.

(Not a comment abt their immense care, but on our social structuring)

There’s going to be a lot of dead children and grandparents, with the wrong people held responsible.

So much of what I see people saying, from annexation fears to imagining Canada embracing economic refugees from the US, is rooted in a version Canada that hasn't existed in decades.
