My story on the BC Human Rights Commissioner report that finds press access was blocked/delayed in a way that violated human rights.

And the city's assertion that the commissioner is wrong. Despite the rigourous evidence-gathering process conducted by the inquiry. thetyee.ca/News/2026/02...

Workers at over 30 long-term care homes in Nova Scotia have voted in favour of striking.

This week, their union heads into conciliation w/ the government in a last-ditch effort to raise wages.

I spoke to two workers who have worked in LTC for decades. They make $18.77/hour.

How do you create a regulatory pathway so Canada can implement a non-medical model of safer supply to save lives in the middle of a public health crisis?
Not even the guy who was No. 2 at Health Canada could think of a way. The fed gov makes drug laws, and can’t think of a way to get around them.
