Been playing Final Fantasy VII Rebirth since it came out on PC. Not having a ton of disposable time, that means a fairly slow pace as compared to "real gamers" today. At first it was magical, beautiful, funny, and fun but I'm almost 50 hours in and all I see is the same tasks over and over.

It has been ages since I tried Dynasty Warriors, but when I did, I felt it was a boring button masher with little draw outside its large amount of characters on screen. Has the formula evolved enough to make Hyrule Warriors a good time? Or is it just the same masher with Zelda skin?
