Dankpods used the wrong drivers for all of the Nvidia cards. The 1080ti was using llvmpipe, which is *software* rendering.

He either re-used the same SSD for all of his test, or the same ISO for all installs. His test are not representative of our Nvidia experience.

i don't even rule out the possibility it's a bazzite issue, but i severely doubt it. and if it was, he could have reached out to work something out first before posting this, especially since most people who will actually install an OS would also be willing to ask for support in bazzite's community.

i'm gonna be honest and say i'm disappointed in dankpods over this, and it's a shame because i really like like his content otherwise. i can't find much about them on the bazzite discord server or the subreddit, so i'm not that convinced this is a widespread issue, if an issue with bazzite at all.

for context: at least two systems he tested had an rtx 4060 and a 3060 - both ran with the NVK drivers indicated by the in-game GPU name. the GTX 1080 Ti also straight up didn't have graphics drivers at all and everything ran through llvmpipe. *how in the name of fuck*.
