Arrived in NYC yesterday to start another Art Marathon at the NY Studio School. Some pictures from the first day.

A new piece - straight pins on antique silk velvet. I’m using the pins as a way of drawing lines- thinking of this as a “Starry Night” interpretation- or fireworks in a night sky.

Last weekend, we joined @socialists.nyc volunteer appreciation day to celebrate the thousands of members—old and new—who knocked on doors, made phone calls, and organized day after day for our victory in the primary.

Onward to November and beyond.
