Everything was fine until Trump decided to unleash violent raids w/o grounds in elementary schools, shopping areas, & peaceful public spaces.

ICE then illegally blocked Members of Congress entry into the facilities they are disappearing people into, escalating the situation.

This is an obvious point, but cannot overstated. There is an enormous difference between deporting someone - where they get off a plane as a free citizen in their home country AND FUNNELING THEM INTO A BRUTAL PRISON FROM WHICH THEY HAVE NO CHANCE OF EVER EMERGING!!!

We’re not sure what separates the Trump admin from the “terrorists” it claims to be fighting. You watch whats happening and can’t even process it—what the hell is going on is all we can think. Our Constitution grants everyone within this country the same legal protections, regardless of citizenship.

The America I know and love is strong enough to tolerate a ruckus or two, even from foreigners.

I've visited countries where as a foreigner I wouldn't say anything negative about their government in public. I've never felt that was a sign of strength, certainly not something to emulate.
