Folk from Tenderbrook have surnames, whereas other kingdoms don't. Tenderbrook is a nomadic kindgom so folk like to keep a part of their birthplace with them, especially if it doesn't exist anymore. Its a way to connect with strangers and tell a bit of your tale from the first meeting!
