I use the Libby app for iPhone to connect to the Toronto Public Library to borrow to books I want and it’s been an amazing, simple experience.

A few of us went to the office yesterday to meet up, grab lunch and catch up. I love it.

Sometimes I try to watch YT shorts on the AppleTV app and it’s like YT is trying to anger people— before every short, my TV screen “blacks out” before the next Short— just long enough that it’s a horrible experience. Can’t believe somebody hasn’t fixed it yet. Maybe I’m the only one watching on TV!

Today I finally got Zendesk’s chat bot connected to Shopify’s API and I haven’t felt this satisfied in a loooong time. It’s such a good feeling to have a win like this every once in a while and a strong reminder for me that learning takes time, effort, and perseverance. Now, to celebrate!

For anybody wondering, I switched to Bell. 200GB CAN/USA/MEXICO data roaming including 5G data. $69 monthly. They’ll get no loyalty from me though— I’ll be switching providers every year since this is how the carriers want to play it. At least eSIMs make the process easy!

Fox News’ Hannity just snuck out the back door at the steak place we’re having dinner at and I had every opportunity to trip him on the way out. So proud of my restraint.

Headed to NYC for a day trip. It will be my first time back since living there. Looking forward to visiting the old stomping grounds and eating some good food with my bestie.

I never know what to say to people who wish me a Happy Birthday on the Socials, so I decided to do something a little fun and have been replying to friends and family with video. It gets a laugh and has been a fun way to reconnect with people I care about. PS: I’m officially the old guy in the room.

I feel the same way. Also, I think having a grasp of gamification has made mobile games less fun for me as I’m always looking out for ways the game is taking advantage of my dopamine reserves.
