Tht’s always one of those WTH? music facts for me, right alongside the fact that one of Whitney Houston’s first appearances on wax was on an album by Bill Laswell’s band Material. And Ozzy appearing on a Was Not Was track.

I could never make a proper omelette until I ditched the stainless steel pan and swapped in a properly seasoned cast iron skillet. I wish you success in this though!

From a packaging perspective I'll say this: it would have been nice for a set like this if they'd dropped the arty buggers routine and provided more of a write-up on the making of the album other than a handful of skimpy studio diary entries. But demystification has never been their thing, I guess.

Still only partway through and it's occurring to me how much of it I've already heard between the original, the deluxe version(s), Wishful Thinking, and the 12-inch releases. But love it all and it's good to have it all in one place. Maybe newer stuff still ahead on next discs, though!
