Yeah, bad numbers are bad numbers - but back when Biden was running low numbers, I know some of it was Bernie-bros and other Dems thinking he wasn’t progressive enough. It’s not like they were going to vote for Trump.

The thing with disapproval ratings is that “why” matters. Some people will disapprove “because he’s an asshole”, while others disapprove because he’s “not being a big enough asshole.”

He may well have (karma is like that) but one crime does not a crime wave make. Once in a while something happens around the Mall, too, but it’s rare.

I worked in central DC for 20 years - it’s not unusually dangerous and certainly doesn’t feel that way. There are parts of the city that are more prone to drug-related crime, but I’ll bet Trump has little to no interest in those sections.
