Executive Director. Dr. Amber Epps is an artist, writer, DJ, professor, nonprofit leader, and (nearly) lifelong resident of Penn Hills. Amber's experience as a leader in local organizations like the Bloomfield-Garfield Corporation, Protohaven, and Omicelo Cares means that she's ready to guide Write Pittsburgh into the future.

"The act of Knowing myself helps me liberate myself from others' expectations. Knowing is an ongoing process, and it takes practice and exploration. That's what my work is-the practice of self-exploration."
