Pilot and Rygel, two secondary main characters on the show, were designed by the Jim Henson company; I believe they currently own the rights to the show. IRRC Pilot required six puppeteers to operate - incredible creature design. His emotive capability captivates me to this day.

If you haven't yet watched Farscape, I recommend doing so. This is Pilot, the universe's best boy. I'll save the gushing for another day. Just be warned that Farscape is a wild ride, and almost all of the other characters are REAL horny.

I could spent forever thinking about this, but I think Meliahwyl would probably be a Jasmine green tea (just green tea scented w/ jasmine flowers). Light, smooth and soothing, slightly floral, but bitter if abused with too high a temp or oversteeped.

Reposting this is case others didn't see it! Also because it still feels appropriate for the time of year.

How did your tav/durge feel upon entering the Shadow-Cursed Lands for the first time?

Traveling between two locations - the outskirts and presumably the Upper City - wouldn't be a huge deal for Meliahwyl. If Wyll is frequently busy, however, she likely wouldn't want to just disappear without him. They eventually figure out a routine that works.
Jaheira's insight also probably helps.

I currently imagine that she and Wyll have a small cottage-like dwelling outside of Rivington, away from the city proper, where Meliahwyl retreats to much of the time while they live in Baldur's Gate. The only complication is either their children's schooling or if Wyll does inherit the dukedom.

Immediately post-game, Meliahwyl struggles a lot in Avernus. It's an extremely difficult environment for her and she has to rely on other skills until she learns to work her magic there.

Ten years later, her struggle is adapting to living in the city again once she and Wyll "settle" down.

I just spent way too long on insta and stumbled upon so many short-form videos of just. wonderful instances of human kindness. It rejuvenated my soul. There really are people trying to spread as much love and kindness as possible despite everything and I'm so grateful for that

doesn't particularly like alcohol or being drunk, she never actually drinks enough to get there. She drinks out of social costum only.

So...perhaps we don't actually know what Meliahwyl is like when intoxicated. It just doesn't generally happen. There's a sub-plot in there somewhere...

Meliahwyl never develops the kind of feelings for Halsin that he develops for her, or she for Wyll. To her, Halsin is a kindred soul of another kind. Closer than a brother; deeper than a friend.

What if she and Wyll had never met? Halsin is too wise to dwell overlong on the matter. And yet...

Much about Meliahwyl attracts Halsin. They might even have *too* much in common. However, to Halsin, both she and Wyll are quite young.
