The tortie of the house -- "If someone calls for me, please tell them I'm not available. Thank you and that is all."

Comfy and irritated -- seems a regular reaction of my tortie. In and out of her rotation of reactions, along with patient tolerance and twice a day, gorgeous, silent beseeching looks while she haunts her "hunting grounds" for the always-late meal. ❣️

I feel the accomplishment, but move right past it because it doesn't prove anything to me. It's ephemeral. How am I a better person is my angle. It's like Sales, only as "good" as your last/latest. Similarly I don't linger on failures for much the same, so it's just a wiggle. Sorry not so helpful. 🫤

Another lovely soul found his home for the holidays recently. Honestly, he wasn't in our care for long. And yes, I AM going in tomorrow.. the cats need attention and care and interaction. They have no regard for human calendars (just their clocks, LOL!)
