Looking for book recs for a 10 year old boy who reads above his age. Preferably standalone books, he's already in the middle of several series. He loves fantasy & mystery.

I've started copying/printing out my favorites and creating physical cookbook. I've also had a couple favorite recipes removed from sites, so I just don't trust it anymore.

I always assumed they consider them acceptable losses for the greater good. And that's why you won't hear a peep from them.

The best part of the colder weather is finally being able to use the fireplace in our new house. Bring on winter!

Anyone else watch Formula 1? These Vegas times are crazy! A race in my own country and the race starts at midnight for me. I'd rather wake up and watch a 7am race from across the world.

Why is picking your next book to read so hard? I have numerous unread books spanning a variety of genres. But making the choice feels way more monumental than it should. So I sit here in my indecision.

My husband goes to Micro Center often for work. He's always got great parking lot stories!

We rent Switch games from the library for our son. Sometimes the wait for a new game can be long, but better than paying $60 for a game he's going to play 2 hours of and get bored with.

I've always been a big library supporter, but never knew how beneficial it would be to my life until my son became an avid reader. He's going through a chapter book every 3 or so days. There's no way I could financially support that! Also bonus for them having Switch games to check out.

Adopted these siblings over the summer. They spend 80% of their day together. I can't even imagine having split them up. They are little terrors but I love them so much. ❤️

Finally reached the day where I had to learn how to do the 4th grade math style being taught now. I had to sit there for several minutes looking at examples in the workbook to figure it out so I could help my son.
