I find it incredibly ironic that the stereotype of a tiktok user is mindless and uninformed. I always found my feed full of activists, historians, political nerds - people who would challenge me, spark interest in new topics, and make me aware of topics that may otherwise have passed me by.

Though if I have my druthers, mine will be on dumb phones until the end of highschool

Kids don't need smartphones. Their developing brains can't handle the stimulus overload (hell, neither can adults!). Wait Until 8th is a pledge to not give your children smart phones until they've at least finished 8th grade.
