They gutted the rewards program (stars) to increase profits, but they lost a lot of loyal customers. $3 for a brewed coffee was bad enough, but $5? Come on.

Profits come at the expense of the workers. They have to pay the unionized workers more. They got greedy (raised prices and cheapened the rewards program) and are now paying the price in sales tanking.

Here’s a deal. Cable companies set up a rightwing “News” bundle (Fox/OAN/Newsmax/Bannon/etc) for $19.99/month. Do the same with CNN/MSNBC/whoever else the right thinks is “left wing”. Then they can see who’s willing to pay extra for those channels and make money in the process.

Milei idolizes Musk and Trump and tries to emulate their policies. It’s working so well in Argentina that half the population now lives in poverty and Milei needs a bailout. This is what’s coming to the U.S., but we won’t have anyone to bail us out!
