Longtime Executive Director of UN Global Compact Network UK. Not blind to the myriad failings of business, but still a believer in its power to make the world a better place and that it's in their best interest to do so. Views expressed here are my own.

Last week, we held the second in-person session of our Business & Human Rights Accelerator.
Through an interactive session, participants worked on prioritising salient human rights risks, assessing their severity and likelihood, differentiating levels of involvement, and developing an action plan.
Wonderful news from France! The National Assembly has voted to advance a billionaire's taxβ116 in favor, 39 against.
The tax enjoys huge public support, with 75% of the French backing it.
Similar levels of support are seen in polls across other countries, including the U.S.
What really confuses me about conspiracy theorists is youβd think an ultra weird billionaire with a made up name, a media channel and his own space ship is literally what theyβve been waiting decades for. An actual Bond villain.
And theyβre all like βYeah bro. Elonβs the MAN. Heβs on OUR team!β
