Just the wrong man for the moment. The window is now, and this is what Democrats put forth as leadership? This concerns me most - the Republicans are on path to fail economically and politically- but someone has to take over and lead. Dems just need a reasonable alternative - This isn't it.

Laws were strengthened and added after Nixon 2nd term. Idea is executive branch can’t use IRS to attack political enemies. Hence law Warren quoted - they can’t even call for investigation/audit.

I believe Warren’s Point is - no change to tax exempt status could be made without investigating as step 1. Ipso facto is how I took that language.

I’m certain this was considered, and without need for regulatory approval - this is the choice. I’m also pretty sure looking at years to resolve legally - which just doesn’t work for any business timeline. It’s not conceding, it’s picking battles.

VZ provides a quality service. What is any CEO going to do here - needs approval for a $20b merger (acquisition really) and our current administration is holding that hostage unless they change current DEI policy. I don't see how CEO has a choice here - play along and DEI back up in 28 is answer
