Szobo has stepped up massively for Liverpool. assist for Salah and scored vs. Man City, then scored the opener vs. Newcastle. Earlier in the season, his goal involvement was questioned, and rightly so but now he’s proving his value with smart movement and end product. #LFC

think that's all perfectly fair. maybe add players missing at key times through suspension too. injuries key for sure

I feel like if Arteta can't pull this back into a relatively close chase,and they don't win the CL (Which I can't see how they would) his time at Arsenal is surely up. He would struggle to convince them lads to go again!

Not the best Liverpool performance tonight, but we got the win while resting key players. Nunez scored with a calm finish, Elliott looked match sharp, and Chiesa, while still not ready, had a buzz about him. Not bad to reach a semi while managing minutes and not playing great
