I think as long as we keep using words like “stupid” we are playing into their hands. People aren’t stupid, the left need to find alternative ways to address the challenges of the far right rather than looking down their nose at them.

I just can’t see how Starmer has the right to withdraw the whip so close to an election. People voted Labour and got independent for 6 months. That isn’t democracy.

I think the US will have them all after January. We have a fair few and could get a lot worse in a few years time.

I thought XTC’s first album was one of the best of that era. Not so sure of them after that but this was a high point.

First Killing Joke album is superb. Absolute classic.
