全ての部分が有毒と言われますが、とっても可愛い花
特に実は有毒だそうですが、実の油を紙にしみ込ませ、和傘、提灯、、、防水、防湿もできるので、塗料にもなるそうな
爺様、何かに使っていたんだろうな…。

Close up of the lobes of Menegazzia lichen. The lobes are long and narrow, have shiny tips, and have small, oblong holes throughout. There are also powdery structures growing out of the lobe, where some may be developing funnel or apothecia.

Colony of Menegazzia lichen on birch tree. The colony is round, with the lobes spread apart in most parts and lifted up in others. There are soralia growth on the top part of the colony. There are holes.

One post tonight. Nice colony of Menegazzia terrebrata (or is it?). This is the one I visit every time I visit this place. Many of the Menegazzias here have small holes like this one. Yachiho Highlands, Sakuho-machi, Nagano #Lichen #FungiFriends

Close up of the lobe of Lobaria lichen. There are many isidia or short, round protrusions. There are white brushy rhizines on the underside of the lobe.

Colony of Lobaria lichen on tree. There are ridges and dips throughout the lobe. The isidia grow along the ridge, but eventually seem to cover the entire base of the lobe.

Lobaria sp. on ancient mizunara oak (Quercus crispula). This one has sexy isidia. The Lobaria colony looks as ancient as the oak but there are fresh small batch in the surrounding trees. Yachiho Highlands, Sakuho-machi, Nagano #Lichen #FungiFriends
