So I will say, I'm really not enjoying the Totem battles in USUM.

Maybe it's because I've already seen this same gimmick done better in S/V, but I think the real problem is the forced 2v1s.

It's incredibly unfair and unfun to fight 2 Pokemon of the same level, one of which is grossly stat boosted.

Meanwhile, Ciri in Witcher 4 playing Gwent instead of saving the world

For me it was absolutely worth the full price. But if you're hesitant on it based on what I said, maybe wait on a sale.

Ultimately it's up to you and if you think you'll enjoy it.

For me, it was amazing. I adore this game. But it is a visual novel with not a lot of gameplay, and it's definitely more of a character driven experience. So if you don't end up liking the cast it probably won't land for you.

Probably my favorite moment in that game. I had it out for that particular character from the moment I met him, so when he got a unique boss theme of that proportion I was so excited.

Additionally, while it unfortunately didn't end up being my particular cup of tea, I also feel like people don't talk enough about the Expedition 33 soundtrack.

There's still time (and I'm not including P5X because that's just unfair) but so far it's definitely my OST of the year.

Yes! I think that was a big reason I loved it as much as I did. A big, open world full of Pokemon is something I wanted since I was a kid.

But also the story and characters are so good, and a lot of the new Mons are awesome ☺️

Ya know, I feel like for all the praise Baldur's Gate 3 got (deservedly so) people don't talk enough about the soundtrack.

But like

The soundtrack fucking slaps.

I genuinely think it deserves more recognition for how great it is. Because it's absolutely wonderful.

I think the issue is that it's in a weird midsection of seriousness.

Like you have Dragonball which got more and more ridiculous but they just accepted that, so it's just a lot of fun because it's self aware.

And Naruto is also ridiculous, but still trying really hard to take itself seriously.

Naruto is such a weird show.

Yeah, I enjoy it, but I know I shouldn't.
