if it weren't for the grace of my roommate I never would've been able to play games like BG3, and I'm always thinking about how media access due to cost defines what media you can even access or engage with

side note: this screenshot perfectly illustrates one of my favourite things about mario kart; how absolutely everything in the tracks is intensely oversized, because you're always looking into the middle distance and readability wins over ground truth.
