The more I read about that EO (news sites giving little, Reddit providing the most insight into what we will be losing) the more depressed I am. It’s not even 1.5 weeks into his second term and it’s absolutely terrifying. Hoping it awakens class consciousness and a class war against the 1%.

I've just been cleaning and organizing to make sure I don’t have any chores to do during recovery lol. But yeah the news is not great lately. Sometimes easier to pretend it’s not happening.

Been busy prepping for when I have surgery with lots and lots of cleaning and not a lot of social media.....

Should get the official a-okay from my lung doctor today to get my surgery and undergo anesthesia. 🤞

I see people posting that Elon was at Auschwitz this time last year - therefore, his recent "gesture" is not antisemitic. I was there, too. Last year. With Elon. I am embarrassed that I have photos of this on my phone. My love, Gidon Lev, was the "special guest" of this photo-op event. We thought, at the time, that it would be good publicity. But I would not share the photo today. I chatted with Elon Musk. I spent hours with him and walked with him through Auschwitz. I stood with him, looking at the nauseating heaps of hair, luggage, and shoes flooded with violet light meant to preserve it. Is Musk an antisemite? People, actually, it's worse - he doesn't care whatsoever. Elon, father of "little X" as he described his freezing cold son to me, literally does not care. He was unmoved by the experience. For Gidon, to be in the place where his father, Ernst, died on a death march - whether shot by the side of the road or having simply collapsed - was a huge deal. Elon did not care. He was about his press junket and his bodyguards. I was ten feet from him as he posed for the cameras of his entourage. He was utterly detached. He cared about how he looked. When he placed a wreath at Auschwitz and Gidon was overlooked, he walked away with the cameras whirring. This is Elon Musk. A sociopath, if ever there was one. To deduce, from this visit, that he is a friend of the Jews is desperately naive.

Julie Gray, wife of Holocaust survivor Gidon Lev, who joined Musk in his visit to Auschwitz speaks out. She says that Musk felt nothing during the tour & only "cared about how he looked."

It's just so relaxing and calm. I love decorating my island lol. I just wish they would see the heavily modified islands and give us that. Like let me go one level higher for building. Give me more staircases. Slightly bigger for more decorating lol. More custom design spots!

Not me being excited AF for the Nintendo Switch 2. And also not so secretly hoping we get a new Animal Crossing. Do I want unalive people in first person shooter games? No. Do I want more freedom to decorate an island and chill with cute animal neighbors? Yes. #Switch2

I admit it’s complete vanity. But I can’t be Asian and have wrinkles so I fully committed lol. Plus in Denver, you can age quickly due to the dry weather and close proximity to the sun. You either wrinkle or routine up.

I have an amazing skincare routine and I live in Denver with dry af climate to begin with lol. So I ain’t scared of battling dry skin. But man about a week ago I constantly felt like throwing up. Life has been miserable.

Being an adult is realizing when it gets cold and dry you need to use a humidifier, take 2x a day hot showers, stick to allergy meds, nasal sprays, and finally suck it up and use a netty pot. Fml. Fck you shitty sinuses and post nasal drip. I feel old AF.

My company is rto 5x a week. So we set up a little snack area to boost morale. Last week they sent an email saying food had to be kept a certain way, no plants allowed, etc. All of our food is in glass jars and I'm bringing in lego plants and building them on company time. Malicious compliance.

I am in the middle of a reorg to setup hydroponics in my spare bedroom. There's a lot to clean and organize and do I do it in a linear fashion? No I've been doing little mini quests of organization. It's slowly coming together, really slowly. 🤷‍♀️

He's not exciting but he's good. And history will eventually reward him for his steady leadership. At least I hope they do. 🤍✨

I agree. I'm not a true photographer but most of what I photograph is scenery or my dogs. So politics are never going to be separate from pictures for me and I would bet for actual photographers because politics affect what they take pictures of....
