I did not get DQ III. I beat the mobile version a few years ago, and I don't care for having party members with no back story. That's also why DQ IX was just okay in my opinion and why I loved XI so much.

Dragon Quest I HD-2D Remake is done! The Dragonlord has been defeated. My final play time was 17 hours, 45 minutes. If you were a fan of the original Dragon Warrior, I feel confident that you will like what they've done.

I haven't been able to put down Dragon Quest I HD-2D Remake. It is so much more than the original game. Superb visuals, music, and gameplay. It has the familiar pieces of the original but adds so much extra content, characters, enemies, weapons, items, etc.
