One factor that often gets ignored when discussing the affordability crisis is that for nearly a half century our governments have colluded with business to suppress our wages.

A rotten culture we have built here around cars and trucks.

It corrodes faith that Canadians have in the charitable system, that charitable numbers are given to organizations that are abiding by their charitable objects.

The cover of the book "Post-Man: Essays on Being a Neurodivergent Non-Binary Person" by Alex Manley, with stacked text above reading, "Happy book birthday!", along with the book title, subtitle, and author's name. Below, footer text lists the publisher, Arsenal Pulp Press, and their website, arsenal pulp dot com. On the centre of the book cover in large bold letters is the book title, “Post-Man.” A bobby pin rests on top of the title. Below the title is the subtitle, “Essays on Being a Neurodivergent Non-Binary Person.” The subtitle is in black except for the words “Neurodivergent” and “Non-Binary,” which are in shades of dark teal, appearing to fade into the background. At the bottom is the author’s name, “Alex Manley.” The background is a teal colour with faint impressions of flowers.

Toronto's problems largely stem from the cost-of-living crisis. A crisis, in part, caused by the simple fact that people *want* to live here. Opportunity, culture, and fulfilment abound
🤔How is that when things like nationalized postal postal banking, telecoms, grocers, internet services, UBI, etc are proposed loud voices always shout "it can't be done" but when billionaire tech bros insist that AI is "inevitable," the loud voices always jump on the propaganda bandwagon?
