Hey #chemchat #chemsky question - an app I used to track journal feeds will be dead soon.

Any good tools to keep track of new literature articles? Ideally I'd like something I can πŸ‘πŸ‘Ž and filter out topics or authors (e.g., "exclude this paper mill")

Suggestions welcome - I'll post a summary

Four of our PhD students just organized the Max Planck Science Policy Winter School.πŸ›οΈ An entire week which brought together 50 young scientists in Berlin to explore where science can have an impact in the political sphere and how it can shape a more resilient future! 🌍

Congrats to them! πŸŽ‰

Effect of particle size on the slurry-based processability and conductivity of t-Li7SiPS8 All-solid-state batteries (ASSBs) promise higher energy and power densities and improved safety over lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) by using non-flammable solid electrolytes (SEs), with thiophosphate-ba...

I am talking about pattern like this

By 'fit' I meant that the reflections are at the right positions and the number of reflections is correct. I do not expect everybody to perform a Pawley fit or a Rietveld refinement.

I have a question for #chemsky and #chemchat: I often see published PXRD patterns which do not fit to the theoretical pattern of a new structure. If the diffraction data don't support the structure, what does that say about the rest of the characterization?
