Overall Gx2 thoughts:

Aura is the 🐐

The venue was sick, and having it open all the time was great for getting friendlies in

The energy of being in a melee crowd is great, watching the SoCal vs NorCal crew battle was more fun than some top 64 sets

3. Played friendlies with people I didn't know at least once every day. I have goldfish memory so I don't remember many tags

4. Did hand stretches every morning, no hand pain

Follow-up on my goals

1. Was not good about ledge dashing in last stock situations. Hit ledge dashes in tournament but got too scared to go for it in tense situations

2. I think I'm starting to use my double jump to escape to plats better, and not trying to fight people when they have ledge invul

+ stretch my hands; don't get injured

Goals for Genesis

- Go for ledgedashes on last stock
- If I don't like a situation, be ok with resetting
- Play friendlies with people I don't know!

This was all my pre-johns for going 0-2

So in reality even though the arcadian ban list is extensive, it feels like it's only "effectively" banning a few players. However, arcadians seem to draw out a whole bunch of the people just under the PR threshold, ironically making the tourney more stacked than one where a few PR players are there

It's interesting how much of a draw melee arcadians get. The PR players are banned, but most of the time they don't show up to many tournaments anyway. Most of the time it seems like you are getting like 3-4 PR players at a weekly, closer to the full 10 for a regional.
