Yeah not a fan of naming the unknown places. The funny thing is that I have never been to Mesquite Dunes.

These dunes don’t get much action, takes some work to get there.

I am guessing you have. It’s a trek getting there plus a 3 mile RT hike. 🙂

It was about 2 years ago. The river that one flowed through here is now about 60 meters below the low point of this oxbow. You can see it in the background.

A cool thing about my new job at Habitat for Humanity is seeing the donations that come in. I’ve always been a fan of Robert Bateman’s wildlife art. If you’ve never seen it look up Robert Bateman’s Chief. It is hanging in the National Wildlife Art Museum in Jackson Wyoming.

We got this today.

Keep this in mind if Pamela Jo Bondi releases any documents about Epstein.

We used about 4 different ones. Humpies, Adams, Caddis, BWO, all in 16-18. They took everything we used.

They are all wild trout.

This is above 7500’, the snow just melted a few weeks ago. They have not had much opportunity to eat till now. There’s no lake this drains into. The creek is a combination of spring fed and run off.

Yesterday I drove a 8 hour round trip to meet up with a friend to take a 4 hour round trip to fish in a creek that averaged 18” wide. We caught 30 fish averaging 10-12” and up to 14”. One of the most fun days I have had in years. Caught all on dry flies and Tenkara rods.
