Algorithms on other platforms consistently reward quantity over quality, preferring steady streams of content, & CEOs have been explicitly clear they are not interested in meaningfully identifying/separating slop from human work. This has led to a huge boom in AI art scams that do not happen here

Unlike etsy, tiktok, instagram, you never see anyone commission bluesky artists only to realize they were sold ai slop.

Bluesky is incredibly valuable as a platform where buyers and artists are free from AI scams, thanks to amazing work by ppl like @davis.social and the entire @aimod.social team
