I liked Lady Eve! I don’t think I know Rowland….will check it out. Finally reading the Maas books and the Harkness trilogy, which are nicely paced (though the Maas is not quite my thing).

It’s on the list! I am 14th in line with 3 copies in use …. you know how it goes.

I like my sci-fi and fantasy with worldbuilding that does not require me to memorize twenty names in the first chapter, banter, characters who are trying their best, political intrigue, hopeful endings, and at least some action sequences.
