16.05.2025 15:51 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0It will look great when done! And the white space gives it a modern touch. You could also add appliqué flowers or other sprinkled down the white space if you wanted something extra, though not needed :)

31.03.2025 05:11 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0What a great idea!! Are you sewing through the cotton clothesline as well as you go? I wonder if Jute cord would also work. It would dry faster than a cotton core after washing but may be tougher to sew through a has the potential to shred. I have big roll that I’ve been wondering what to do with
30.03.2025 14:56 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Oh I want to try this. What are you using inside the rings? Are you pre-making a stuffed tube of sorts? What a great distraction. The news seems to get more bizarre and horrifying with each passing day
29.03.2025 18:57 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0What I do is line up the fold to a horizontal line on the ruler and only cut one fat quarter at a time. Some folks stack them and it does work, but if you want total accuracy one at a time gives you more control IMO.
29.03.2025 18:51 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I think both are great because it’s what the quilter chose! That’s what’s so great about quilting and any art form—there is no right or wrong, only what’s right for them.

23.03.2025 07:44 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Haha quite the opposite, it’s pretty fool-proof, if you remember to count… I’ve accidentally cut a strip our two a half inch short. But with a little applied mindfulness, it becomes a breeze!

23.03.2025 07:37 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Exactly! And when I’m not using that, I use a big fat handle on my 8.5 x 24” ruler to protect my finders lol
