I had more respect for TT when they were just going to pull up roots and leave the US. There is virtually no chance that this will mean good things for the app or it's creators/users in the future. It's all downhill from here.

This is what makes me actually want to delete the app. I don't want more US billionaires controlling the narrative. It's not like the new 'investors' are going to help with the hate speech problems or suppression of leftist messaging we have seen. They will exacerbate it.

It has been a rough week here on the farm. Our beloved cat passed away at 15 years old and one of our dogs also got salmon poisoning... Which was then compounded by a negative reaction to the medicine she was given. 2k in vet bills later she is finally back home and resting.

One thing everyone should do before January 20th is to download whatever data you can that you use on a regular basis or might need in the future. During the last trump admin a lot of this data became inaccessible or at least difficult to find and obtain.
