Howβs Baldwin looking?
23.01.2025 00:29 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Be more convincing if his peepers werenβt squeezed shut π
23.01.2025 00:25 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I β€οΈ this guy. Thought he was kept on the back burner a little too long & could have been #1 ruck before he was.
Was behind Sess & Barnsey, then Fish & Sess & then they brought in Allan for that 1 year & played him 2nd behind him.
Just loved how he went about jt. Good, honest, hard footballer.
Most to prove: Reid
Most improved: Perkins
Those who havenβt played much who impact: Bryan
Clarke has shown SO much growth over the last two seasons.
Would hate to see her go for pennies in the dollar.
Came to mum and dad's for dinner one night when I was in my teens. After dinner sat in the lounge room chatting. Just a super bloke who is so naturally him that makes you feel so comfortable.
He also smashed about 8 stubbies in a space of very little time.
Always really liked the bloke.
How about the gun show on Drapes?
Looking powerful.

What was the forward set up?

03.12.2024 14:11 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Curious: Alcohol causes as much, if not more, damage than gambling.
What is your position on Essendon having a liquor license and profiting of alcohol sales at games and club events?
Interested in what (former) Channel 7 News reporter Tom Browne would probably say about these shots @jonathanjwalsh.bsky.social
01.12.2024 05:57 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Without wanting to get political: Vote Barham
(I also respect that everyone is free to make their own choices and don't fault anyone for voting for who they think will do the best job for the club even if it doesn't align with my preference).
Actually, my favourite statement might be "If we can't do it (win a final) in three years I will shouldn't be there".
AKA: If I can't swoop in & take all of the glory and results from all the grunt work the previous regime did by riding their coattails and not actually getting my hands dirty....
The board is flawed because there is no premiership experience on it - yet we just had a board with Madden, Wellman and Sheedy on it all who have multiple experiences with premierships and they didn't move the needle.
What a weak soapbox to stand on.
Chivalrous.
Seems the type.
How does Hoare's hands and disposal compare to Baldwin's?
Those two areas appear to be to be Baldwin's real point of difference and makes him stand out to me.
Is Reid taking a lot of the kick out duties Scooter, or was this more just the way the drill shook out?
29.11.2024 22:11 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0SOOOOOO much to like about this report (quality work as always mate).
Love, love, LOVE the are working on a hard switch. Opening the ground up and creating space plays into our strengths.
Also loved hearing how they used Perkins. He makes things happen for others with his quick decision making.
Champion bloke. Really looked after me when I was home for a holiday in 2023. Canβt speak highly enough of him.
27.11.2024 16:13 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Caddy #10

Gerreyn #30
Unwin #33
Johnson #40

Davey Jr #43
So every player we drafted should have been drafted well within the top 50, are all going to be starting 22 for us squeezing out current 22 players and they were compared to Neale, Warner, Curnow, McGovern etc...
I'm pre-purchasing my GF tickets for the next 10 years.
Dynasty here we come.

Test confirmed: Duzz is still a machine.
13.11.2024 01:10 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Man I hope they bring Baldwin back.
No knock on Laverde, but I would rather invest time into Baldwin in the backline than him. Baldwin has those hands and the top shelf disposal that Laverde lacks - and is 6 years younger.
Left of field: Bryan.
He's oozing potential, can be so influential & if he can do it with the big boys it gives us such a dangerous advantage at CBA's & especially around the ground.
Also frees up Draper to ruck in spurts and at 100% effort where I think he is much more effective and damaging.
Be nice to not have to travel interstate every other week for the first 6-8 weeks of the season for a change.
Not holding my breath though.
AFL hates us.
I don't think comparing the moving on of Harvey and Petrie to the moving on of Stringer belongs in the same conversation.
