Call the United States Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and they will connect you with your senator's office.

No matter how they voted last night, every one of them has a say in maintaining Chuck Schumer and Dick Durbin as their caucus leaders. Every one of them is accountable here.

What is the argument for voting for Democrats for harm reduction if the harm is not fucking reduced

So @schumer.senate.gov really thinks we don’t understand that he orchestrated this by getting senators not up for re-election to vote yes?

10.11.2025 03:57 β€” πŸ‘ 3449    πŸ” 1332    πŸ’¬ 260    πŸ“Œ 142

The coordinated nature of thisβ€”none are facing voters in 2026β€”means that either Schumer approved it or failed in his job as Senate Majority Leader to stop it.

Dems voting "no" get zero credit until they demand a change in leadership. Schumer out as Leader, Durbin out as Whip.

10.11.2025 02:43 β€” πŸ‘ 10736    πŸ” 3775    πŸ’¬ 258    πŸ“Œ 250

There really should be a coordinated effort to force Schumer out as Minority Leader as a result of his failure here.

10.11.2025 03:05 β€” πŸ‘ 794    πŸ” 127    πŸ’¬ 14    πŸ“Œ 1

What are you going to do about it, @kenmartin.bsky.social? Are you going to support primary opponents of the non-retiring yes votes and call for Schumer to step down? Or just release statements like this while finding the most feckless possible candidates to support?

10.11.2025 04:07 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Expel the yes votes from the party and cut off all their access to fundraising, then remove Schumer from leadership. Anything less is mealy-mouthed coward bullshit.

Since the Democrats worked extra hard to hide who actually supported this, I think the No Kings/Resistance position should be to primary every Democrat unless they publicly call for Schumer's ouster this week

Either they go into total rebellion mode, which they won't, or the people will

-Oct 18, more than 7 million Americans stand up and stand together.

-Nov 4, millions of Dems turn out for landslide wins in VA, NJ, NY, CA, GA, many other places.

-Nov 9, eight "Dems" say "Oh, this nice Mike Johnson and Mr. Trump say they care about health. If they don't, well shame on them..."

How about we shut down the government for this very popular and specific goal and then, hear me out, we hold out for like a month and a half and then, ok this part is important, after a watershed election where we ran the table, ONLY THEN, fold and don't get the one thing we said we wanted.

10.11.2025 02:31 β€” πŸ‘ 13222    πŸ” 3685    πŸ’¬ 238    πŸ“Œ 178

If people want Schumer to go here is what you need to do.

1) Call for his ouster (check)
2) Find a replacement (?)
3) Make specific demands on what the replacement needs to do (??)
4) Withhold all support from any senator who does not agree.

That's your playbook.

To go from having a sliver of hope last week β€” FINALLY β€” to this. Primary the fuck out of all these assholes.

Also, you can stop sending me 20+ requests for money a day. You’re not getting a goddamn dime.

They caved in March so they could get a better deal now. They’re caving now so they can get a better deal in some indeterminate future. The better deal is always just beyond their reach, but continuing to cave will get them there. And if you don’t agree with that, you don’t understand Politics,

a man in a pink shirt is standing in front of a fence holding a hose . Alt: mustachioed Elijah Wood tracing his hand sensually along a white wire fence before turning to the camera and saying "Terrific!!"

They turned Indivisible into an officially anti-Democratic incumbent organization overnight. Just remarkable stuff!

Important to understand this. There's a reasonable chance that your Dem Senator who voted against it and is acting mad now was in on the play. It's the same reason why they scheduled the surrender for AFTER the election this week. They didn't want people pissed at Dems right before an election.

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

This is really good to see: Miki Sherrill just put out a statement sharply criticizing the Senate Dems' pending cave in the government shutdown, ripping it as "malpractice" and a betrayal of the people who are "counting on us to fight for them." Sherrill knows what drove her victory. Wake up, Dems.

Call your Senators and tell them that shit is absolutely unacceptable. It's absolutely unsurprising from the @democrats.senate.gov and the "leadership" of @schumer.senate.gov and we need to let them know that all of them deserve to get primaried for this.

the harris campaign said the β€œthey/them” ad didn’t sway the election.

one of the trump campaign’s top strategists this week said trans rights isn’t in the top five issues for swing voters.

when will the press stop talking about us like we’re a liability and start looking itself in the mirror

Stop sharing AI slop.

It's one thing if you don't know or just made a mistake. No need to breathe down someones neck b/c its harder to tell nowadays.

But if you do know (ESPECIALLY IF YOU DO KNOW) even if you're posting it to make fun of it or sharing it unironically... consider not doing that.

So please, please believe me when say you cannot turn this interview request into anything good, it will do only harm. Harm to you, harm to your child, harm to other children.

Target, who openly fucked over black & queer people for a few bucks, is offering a Thanksgiving meal for 4 people for $20.

Aldi, who pays employees well and hasn't given a red cent to Trump or various PACS, has a Thanksgiving meal for 10 people for $40.

It's not a hard choice. FUCK Target.

It is important to note that Jewish voters were Mamdani's second best demographic. They came out for him overwhelmingly. The Zionist propagandists are not nearly as dominant, prevalent, or representative as they're treated. They're just inordinately boosted individuals.

05.11.2025 21:43 β€” πŸ‘ 433    πŸ” 169    πŸ’¬ 6    πŸ“Œ 0

Agree. Mamdani is a powerful example of this. He did not make his support for Palestine central to his campaign, but his insistence on sticking to his core beliefs when asked to repudiate them, but also reassuring those who were fearful, actually helped demonstrate his sincerity and values.
