I don’t disagree with any of the above but saw a clip yesterday from Super Rugby and the MP player did the exact same thing and the resulting try was allowed. Can’t be two sets of rules and referees at the top level have to be consistent wherever the game is in the world.

I think now that residency rules have been tightened. Small countries like ourselves need to include all of the country. Imagine SA only being really interested in players from the Pretoria/Johburg area!
