Oh, hello 👀
Thank you Shakespeare and Hathaway for giving us Bakerloonies more Goth Colin 😍
They finally announced the airdate for s5 of Shakespeare and Hathaway. It’s about time.

07.09.2025 22:18 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0You've been kidnapped. The characters from the last TV show you watched are trying to rescue you. Who's coming to save you?
This implies that someone will actually bother! Ted couldn’t be arsed, Brian is too busy with Jane, David “has plans“, and Paul ain’t saving nobody.
So…where’s Gwen Riley?
March 20, 1979 - Hull Daily Mail - A meeting of Doctor Who stars as Katy Manning and Colin Baker star in a production of Odd Man In.

An excerpt of the Doctor Who 2019 Annual. It reads “Best Friend: Peri Brown” and is accompanied by a brief biography of Peri along with a photo of her and the Doctor in the TARDIS
I was not expecting to see this bit of cuteness while reading the Sixth Doctor page of the #doctorwho 2019 Annual.
Let the truth be known! 🙌
The Bayban the Butcher boxset and Bayban Ascending tie-in. Which is odd considering Blake's 7 has a small but robust fanbase.
I’d love a volume two, but I don’t think it’s in the cards.
That’s so neat!

Hi @tme1998.bsky.social, do you have the actual copies of the media you have listed on your site or is information (such as duration, dates, and images) compiled from various sources?
17.02.2025 15:24 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Please start!
I’ve got nothing against genre fic (especially romance, which would be my favorite if I had to choose), but like you said, it’s been difficult finding accounts that aren’t dedicated to speculative stories or whatever’s popular on social media.
Hi there!
10.02.2025 19:10 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I read Monte Cristo in two days based on some random recommendation by a celebrity I like, so I think I liked it haha.
If Beale Street Could Talk, but any of James Baldwin’s books count.
Sula got me hooked on Toni Morrison
Hi #booksky. On my journey to making my bluesky more book-oriented, I’m looking for people to follow who read primarily (and post about) literary fiction, poetry, or classics in general.
#literaryfiction #litfic #poetry #classics
I’m a huge fan of Japanese novels and poetry, so I’ve dabbled in my fair share.
“On Love and Barley” by Basho is a nice haiku collection, as are “For All My Walking” from Santoka and “Essential Haiku” with Basho, Buson, and Issa (translated by Robert Hass).

At nearly 700 pages, my longest was definitely Careless Love: The Unmaking of Elvis. I couldn’t put this book down. It’s depressing thru and thru, but helps you see EP as the well-rounded person he was.
Shortest was Gd Help the Child by Toni Morrison. Also a good read.

That’s a Disney Princess voice if I ever heard one :)
Love the Aerosmith cover, too!
I am, once again, as always, as per usual, in my feelings that #thebrothers1972 never got an eighth season
04.01.2025 13:52 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0That’s what I’m saying! Fanart also has a reputation for being nsfw depending on who you talk to, but that doesn’t stop the artists from having an “upper hand”. You can draw SFW, NSFW, AU art and be fine.
Meanwhile writers as a collective have to write canon-compliant genfic to be taken seriously.
Footnote: I’m not saying I want to shove my writing into anyone’s face, but, as someone who is not ashamed of my work, I don’t like these imaginary barriers that force me to look at my work in a shameful way.
03.01.2025 23:33 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0AND we have double-standards towards us. Artists can give the cast and crew their art/tag them on social media, can sell it, can display it wherever.
But writers are barred from mentioning the word “fanfic” within a 200mi radius of relevant persons. Why is our art supposed to be left in the dark?
Spock was first
FF a few eons, I watched the Sixth Doctor—one of the most blatant autism representations I’ve seen. I instantly connected with him
Then I watched The Brothers. Paul Merroney has traits carbon-copied all over him
Honestly, Colin’s filmography is rife with autistic-esque characters
Oh, I miss TWoP. Primetimer is/was a very poor substitute.
02.01.2025 20:27 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Right? The number of overlapping actors is one thing, but all the dialogue that parallels each other is fascinating.
02.01.2025 20:22 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Lmao I much prefer the outfits Peri wears that are more aligned with her age and personality. The pantsuit ensembles are a bit too mature for her, in my view. More businesswoman than California college chick
