Okay first impression of dungeon crawler carl, and what was also my expectation, is that the humour is quirked tf up. A bit of lolrandomxd.

rereading murderbot every few months looks crazy 💀 It's really just eleven unique stories read over and over for a total of 26. Wells just does world building so well as well as found family 🥺
Hazelwood is just so easy to read and I'm trying to finish her catalogue haha

The most positive surprise this year I think was "I Who Have Never Known Men", which was published in 1995 :) I didn't think I'd enjoy it this much but it really moved me and I'll definitely revisit it some time.

I like a slow exploration of a complex world with not too much tragedy and death because I like happy endings :)
