You know I keep coming back to this animation, and I gotta ask: Could you please tell me the source on the song? It sounds familiar but I can't quite put my finger on it.

I haven't played either of them, but I'm well aware of both games. Watched a good friend of mine play through both, several times.
The granular gunplay is neat but the games aren't for me.

There's a hidden cheat mode in the Quattro Arcade game: CJ's Elephant Antics, entering your initials in the high score as "B52" activates cheat mode and gives you infinite bombs.

I found this out by chance because I like Codemaster's Bee 52 for the NES, and they also made Quattro Arcade.

It's a Like-Like from the legend of Zelda with a dagger and hood, turning it into a Rogue Like-Like. I am not sorry.

I was suddenly reminded of this stupid thing I made last year, and now I must burden you all with it.

and really I'm bringing this up because it always bugs me when games give you weapons that are cool on paper but they're either so situational or awkward to the point you're better off just trashing it and using the practical choice.

Or god forbid the boring weapon that has bigger numbers.

Thinking about the alternate weapon in Dragon View again: The Hauza's a funny boomerang thing, which is cool but you're frequently up against shorter enemies and you're unable to hit them with the damn thing.

Feels like it should have been one of the secondary weapons bound to A instead.

The weapon sprites are pretty great too.

Damn I think I finally had a breakthrough with the other whip upgrade. This deploys sparks that deal low damage but it also refreshes the current mark debuff, you also spawn more of them with stronger whip attacks, so it adds up!
