The other one gets a trimming every few months by either PetSmart or day care, whatever’s easiest. I bathe them, and they don’t need grooming, but I don’t want to do nails.

Our dogs see the vet once a year unless there’s something wrong. We have one dog’s nails trimmed every two weeks at PetSmart. It’s ridiculous how fast his grow.

I’m so sorry. I’m glad he got to enjoy the last couple days.

That looks lovely! We’re now in the Lake District, and it’s finally stopped raining. Yesterday and this morning were very damp.

FYI I was totally miserable the day after both shingles shots, and fine the day after that. I’ve known people who felt rotten for several days. Plan accordingly and cross your fingers you don’t feel anything. 😀

Oh no. How awful.

(Our hotel in Glasgow did have a bedspread on top of the duvet, so we took the duvet off and slept under the bedspread, which was lighter. But really. What’s wrong with a flat sheet?)

I’ll never understand why hotels in the UK think the only necessary bed cover is a duvet. No sheet, no blanket, just a bulky comforter or nothing at all.
